  • Foxbody V1-S Trim fit on my 95 GT

Picking up the whole kit for $900. From what research I have done, I have to buy the Bracket & pulleys to make it work with my 95. But don't want to go have to spend $1000 plus on these parts when I can buy a Specific kit for my car for $2400.

Going on stock bottom end with Trickflow 170s Cobra Intake & Stock Cam and stock 3.08 gears with full Bolt Ons. Also want to go to Truestreet to have my car tuned N/A & want to buy a chip for it since I will have to use it for the Blower too. Can I go ahead & run 42lb injectors on my Stock motor and it still run right & good mileage

The blower itself will work. You need different brackets. I have the Vortech brackets that I probably should sell, as I don't think I am ever going to use them. I think they are new. Let me know if you might be interested and I'll dig them out. I'd sell them cheap, it damn sure wouldn't be $1,000.

I also have a powerdyne kit for that car that I have been meaning to sell. I originally planned just putting it on my car for the hell of it. The Powerdyne setup is not anywhere near as pretty as the Vortech though.

Yes are these the brackets I need to make the head unit work on my 95? So in short for $900 I am paying $900 for the head unit. I am only going to be using the head unit off the kit I get and the rest of the kit is useless?

You can use the blower unit, the oil lines, the blower belt tensioner, the blower pulley and I BELIEVE the blower belt. Not 100% sure on the belt but that only costs about $50. Everything else is different. You can sell the fox body brackets to offset some of the cost, they are usually worth two to three hundred.

And yes, the brackets I have are for a Vortech on a 94/95.

That is GREAT NEWS! Johnny hit me up with how much you want for those brackets. Will the Fox Head unit work with the 94-95 bracket & bolt up or will there need to be some modification?

Hoping for 360 RWHP 350 RWTQ with the S Trim & Trickflow 170s & Cobra Intake. Pretty sad that my LS1 makes 400+ RWHP N/A & my 5.0 with Heads & Intake and Blower wont even come close to my LS1. But I love the 5.0 Motor & really like the SN95 Body with how much better it handles. My 95 has no PS & its like driving a Go Cart. It feels peppy now with the 3.08s. Prolly making somewhere in the range of 270 RWHP now

AlP... AKA the notorious blower pimp of the 90's!

How many supercharger kits did you run through back in the day? LOL

I ran a modified Powerdyne BD-11a on my 92 and it was a good blower, broke belts sometimes, but it was super quiet.

Will send you a PM shortly Seb.

As for the Powerdyne, I never ran one but Bsharer did and I think he was happy with it. I know there is a place down in Waxahachie that sells all the parts for them and some upgraded belts. This is a BD 11A unit.

Forrest, we all know that a smart guy like you would have sold all this bullshit a long time ago and bought himself a condo on the beach!
