Morgan and Son...

Has anyone here had an engine built -long or short block- by Morgan and Son in Grand Prairie? For a driver, not a dedicated track car.
Ford small block to be more precise.

OR, maybe the correct question: does anyone here have bad experiences with this shop that they will share?

The only thing that I have eve seen them build were chebbies. Not saying that they will not do a ford. If you do not have any luck with them you need to contact Wells in Duncanville.

Morgan and Son...

They built the one that's in my GTO now
I bought compustar h-beam rods and 4" compustar H beam rods brand new in the box from a guy and he had 5.7 lunatic pistons also brand new in the box. He also had a 5.3 block so I bought it all

I had M&S do the machine work and assemble the short block

He did a great job and did it all in about a week.

I drive the hell out of my car all the time. Lots of street use and I abused it at the track the last couple times (made 11-12 passes last time I was out). And I haven't had any issues at all

I'm running 14psi of boost in a 4180lbs car on drag radial pros

Morgan and sons has done lots of ford engines on here and I have never heard a complaint about them.

Wells on the other hand, screw that dude.
