4.56's is more than I would personally go on a daily driver. My Cobra has 4.10's, but also has a six speed and it's not bad at all plus it's only a play toy and not a daily. For a daily, I personally wouldn't go more than 3.73's, especially if you drive in heavy traffic at all.

For a short while they will be fun in first and second gear to play with, but since you lack any real HP, on the big end the car will fall on it's face. You will most likely lose more races now than you did before because now it will be just spinning down low and falling on it's face on the top. I suspect you will change them out in time on your own.
He should have went 4.10s, but with the plate delete and some tires it should be a beast to about 80-100 depending on how well he can rip the stick and move his feet..

And I'll still race you btw.

Getting a few suspension goodies. 70/30s, launch springs, control arms, tubular k member and a arms are in the works.. Already have sub frames now I just need to weld the torque boxes and put a set of soft rubbers on it and see how it goes out of the hole..

      And technically it's still stock.

Hoping for a decent drop in 60ft.

I disagree on it being a beast. Its still a 14 second stormer.

Should be in the 13s. More beast then 3.27s.

Ah ok, lol. 1/8th mile would be close I think if you don't spin. On the street you get drug in any race. Hypothetically, of course.

It's your car, do as you like with it.

As I have said before. The world needs more steve's. I'm gonna put these in, and if I don't like them then I'll step down. To me it's better than getting 4:30's and thinking how awesome the car would be with .56's.

I have 4.56's in my Lightning and it's driven 3-4 times a week. Just took a 900 mile round trip in it this year. I don't understand what the big deal is? Does it somehow make you tired to sit in the seat and turn 2800 rpms? Does it make you feel uncomfortable? Mines smooth as glass and has zero issues except that it will peel your face off from a stand still.

Damn, 4-5-6's. That's a lot of gear, but like you said, you don't drive anywhere.

My daily commute of 20 miles each way would be fun with 4-5-6's !

I'm still debating doing the 4.10's in my car, and I have a 6 speed !!

Can't wait to see what it does with the steeper gears !

After looking at the gear install write up, there is no way in hell my dad and I could tackle that! lol.
