I broke my Branson the other day moving some big bales of hay.

Anyone have the hookup on a 50 plus horsepower kubota or john deere? I need a front loader on it too..

I had a 1066. Never had a problem of not enough power. Any of the ih 66 series in those hp are good tractors. Super reliable for me. Sold it years ago when I sold our land.

Should be able to pick one up reasonable.

Subscribing. I've been looking to replace our 78 International w/front loader. Jesus fuck tractors are fucking expensive.

You buy a decent one and do some maintenance and the thing should last fo evar.
X2 on getting parts. Some of those Chinese units seem to be a bargain until you have to fix it.

I had a Kioti (Korean) and parts were readily available, but the Chinese tractors are very difficult to source parts for.

John, are you wanting to buy a new one? The Kubota dealership in Paris will drop their skirt to get a deal. Should be able to get an M5000 pretty reasonably.

I don't want to spend over 20. I might go a little over 20 if it has a cab

Used, I assume? You could also try Brinker (auction house) up in Idabel, OK. They get some really choice inventory that sometimes goes pretty reasonably.

BTW, cab is the way to go. Mine had a cab that would make the time go by much more comfortably.

If you want a sticker shock, go to Cabela's. They started slinging TYM's (a Korean company) with the Cabela's logo, they are asking near $40k for a 55hp with cab.

I get that, but Jesus... My Dad won't spring for a new or newer tractor. My intention is to buy him what he won't buy for himself. The International has been ok, but it's extremely low on power, and no 4x4. I'm also going to buy him a TurboSaw, which the current tractor won't run (not enough hp).

I priced a new Kubota, I believe M5000 series, at $48,000 with cab and 4x4. Even the used ones are close to $40,000 from the light looking I've done. That's fucking nuts for a used tractor. I don't need anything for commercial use, but I'd like it to last 20 years or more.

Kabota was doing a no interest financing a few years back when I bought my B2620. It's been a great machine but wasn't cheap.

I think my Kioti was around $30k, but that was 55hp, 4x4, loader w/self leveling bucket, cab, box blade, bush hog, angle blade, fork attachment and some other shit. I also bought a backhoe, but pretty sure I financed it individually. Short of the name, you couldn't tell a difference between mine and a Kubota.

The only issue I had was with the front end. I blew the ring/pinion gears on the hub. Kioti sent me new parts under warranty, no questions asked.

Any TERP money this year ?
Well, just checked. Looks like there is some money if you are in the right county..
TERP works hard to cut NOx emissions that affect the air of our great state. By upgrading your vehicles and equipment and discarding the older models, you are helping to sustain Texas for the years ahead.

I screwed myself when we bought our last tractor. TERP money came out about 4 weeks later. I could have saved a ton...
