  • Need a reputable source for 2009 Fusion Fender

I am looking for a drivers side fender for my 2009 Ford Fusion and have been looking on line for them. Never ordered a body part on line and am wondering if anyone can suggest a company to buy from, and especially if there's one to stay away from.

I am sure I can put it on myself..... I have built a few cars but never did any of the body work on them, but how hard can it be?

I just wonder about when it says "Oversized item, additional adjustments must be made for proper fit".

Here are a couple of places I found for a decent price....

Just make sure you inspect for dings ect. Before you leave inspect part if you not happy tell them to pull another.

Thanks! Are they difficult to put on? The damaged one was taken off already by someone who I can no longer reach, and I was out of town at the time so I didn't see what was involved. It's actually my girlfriend's car and I'd like to get it on there as a Christmas surprise, then get it painted later.

If you're in the Arlington area and can help once I get a fender in hand, I'd appreciate it.

A board member who works at a paint and body shop offered a good shop price, but the logistics are difficult right now with having only one car, needing it for my new job, and being poor at the moment.

If I can do it shade tree style, I'd like to do it that way.

          Thanks!

I can probably handle it. Just want to make sure I get one that fits, and I put it on perfectly straight.

Certi-fit in Arlington and like others have said, inspect it before you pay. Once you get the new one you will be able to see where the bolts go and its pretty easy. The primer they put on will last a year or so before starts to deteriorate.

Not if your as poor as you say you are. I wouldn't be putting shit like that on my car, but if your short on money and have to do the labor yourself, then buy that Taiwanese bullshit and install it, Chris...

LOL... this IS Henry, AKA The Boosted right? Aren't you in the paint and body business?

I will probably try certifit. Didn't get a chance to call them today but I will check them out.

FYI I just put a whole 03 cobra ( certifit)

front clip on my shell I'm building. For the $220 I spent it fits great.

                            2 fenders @ 40 each
                            03-04 cobra bumper @ $130

                            Always check parts for damage

Heck yeah I got the fender for 30 bucks from certifit and will have it painted thru a board member referral and have it on by next weekend.

                              Thanks for the tip guys!
