Yes it is! I've been sitting on these cars for years and now I finally have a big enough space to work on them. April is a pretty tuff goal to meet for me, cuz I'm very anal about things. I just need to keep it simple and stick to the basic's to make it safe on the road. If I don't make April I should definitely be cruising the streets by summer.

I heard it was a good cam, but I was wondering if it was going to have any noticeable lope to it. Do you remember what you set the degree at when you installed it?

straight up, and there isnt enough of a lope to even talk about it. You can kinda tell it isnt stock, but its no 3/4 cam...

Ha - I was wondering if someone would comment on that. My excuse is not all my tools have made it from the garage to the shop and I still need to get them organized. (can't find my ball peen hammer)
BTW, I might hit you up later on the mini tub you did. I plan to cut down an 8.8 which will make it almost 3 inches shorter than stock, so I think a mini tub with a nice custom deep dish wheel is in her future.
Are you planning to make the cruise to OK? I know there are a few guys from MustangSteve's website talking about a get together.

When is the cruise? My car still has a ton of finish work to do. Body work and wrapping up loose ends. I still need to order fuel lines and rebuild the stuff I've bought rebuild parts for.

Current state of my car right now 0_o

It's around April 10th right now, but I don't think they have it set in stone. It looks like the event starts out in OK and you can pick between 2 routes - Los Vegas or North Carolina. I plan on doing just the Texas - OK trip. I think they are having 2-3 days of events in OK too for the kick off.

HenryJ, I may be interested in cruising up there with you in my 68 if you don't mind. I was thinking the same thing but it would be more fun with other people, especially other classics.

That sounds great. Did you build your 68? I may need some pointers along the way. Did you do the cable clutch or hydraulic on your t5 conversion? I'm still trying to decide. I think the cable clutch would be easier, but I already have a set of tri-y headers I was going to use, so maybe I should go with the hydraulic setup. These are the kind of things I don't want to get too hung up on to slow me down. I'm trying not to do too many mods to start with so it will go back together quicker and easier... I can always make changes later.

Any of yall powder coated or painted the chrome around all of the side windows/ vent windows and door handles? I'm in the process of taking apart all of the above and blasting for powder. I would love to do it in black chrome, anybody know someone that can do that? Car is a '67 with full TCI suspension and fresh paint, minus drip rails, side vents, and a few other things.
