Wheel bearing?

2007 sport trac. When driving straight above 20 mph there is a hum like with big tires. If I turn left noise stops. Don't see anything in the tire. If it was in the steering I don't think it would do it going straight. Maybe the left ball joint since pressure is taking off of it when turning left?

Wheel bearings are known issues on explorers in general, Id pop off each wheel and rotor to check them all. I cannot count how many I did at the dealer.

X2 on wheel bearing. explorer/sport trac are known for this issue.

Pulled it in the garage to get a closer look and the plastic tank on the radiator was leaking. This is the third radiator I've had to replace. Didn't remove calipers or rotor but did rotate tires and see if there was play in the bearing. Still tight and moved freely. Fuck they're expensive, 215 from vatozone. Thanks for the responses . It's still making the noise so I guess I'll be buying some

For radiators, go to http://www.whitepages.com/business/a...-settlement-tx. Usually half of what the part stores are, and the same or better warranty. Radiator shops use him.

Thank you for the info but had to get it from autozone b/c wife doesn't have time to take off from work and was freaking out. 225 but lifetime warranty. Will check them out for my 84 that I'm about to build for the strip
