So I recently bought the green '86 GT back from Sean (racrguy). I was really excited to get it back and started gathering parts to do the 5 lug swap on it.

Well, I have driven the car twicce since I got it and went to my buddy's house last night and we were looking the car over. Turns out the engine has a blown head gasket.

That sucks....oh, but it gets better !!!

Today on my way to work I got on it a little in 1st and 2nd gears, casually shifted to 3rd and heard a bit of a clunk. Hmmmm, that sounded a little weird. Shifted to 4th just fine and went to go to 5th and it was stuck in 4th gear.

Fucking fantastic.

Sooooooo, it looks like I'm pulling the engine and trans out and I'm just going to go ahead and say fuck it and go to a Windsor.

Anyone have any 351 Fox body swap parts laying around ?

LOL, he wasn't driving when the trans locked up, so I'm not blaming it on him.

Yeah yeah, I should have known that was coming. I have actually gotten some progress done, but nothing worth showing. It's all been boring wiring, and swapping window regulators, etc from the parts car to the wagon.
