Maybe this is normal...I dunno.
I have 03-04 cobra brakes front and rear. New rotors rotors and performance friction pads in the front. I did the rears last year. OEM rear lines, steel braided lines on the front. New fluid through out. I have about 400+ miles on the new fronts and fluid. Haven't been able to bed them in propperly yet, but some good hard stops here and there.
If I apply the breaks lightly, clutch in and then let the clutch out sending the revs up, the brake pedal seems to twitch or something and it feels similar to when the ABS engages. I can't see the ABS light, but I don't think it's coming on...
Power steering fluid is at the correct level. Initial pedal feel is a little soggy, but I don't have to push far to get good clamp.
When I bled them, I unhooked the battery and pumped about 40 times...think that's supposed to release the ABS??? Anyway, then I bled the master first and then nearest the res to furthest. I've also seen it sugested furthest to nearest. Either way, fluid came out clean all the way around.
Is this normal, or do I need to do some more bleeding?
