Thanks - I have an auto-check on the vehicle but wasn't sure if it would show maintenance records or types of previous owners.

Thanks for this. I drove to Houston today to look at this car. Priced right but but had very poor paint on the repaired panels with painted over dents. Adding to that, I found an undisclosed air bag light on. He told me it passed inspection like this with light on. I didn't think they would even inspect a car with check engine light on let alone airbag light. When asked he told me the steering wheel and curtain airbags were left out of the repair as it was outside the budget. This along with needing an alignment I reduced my offer and we couldnt find middle ground. 8 hours of driving today.....I'll never do that again.

I avoid rebuilds and salvages at all cost. Total turds. They're plentiful and cheap for a reason.
