  • Cummins injectors attn**cooter or Paul

Any advise on who to get injectors from for a cummins? Had 1 or more shit the bed and going to replace all. Truck is a 06 with 114k ish on it. Old quadzilla box(60,90,175 settings I believe), 5in turbo back, volant cold air and is a 2wd. Looking for either stock or slight upgrade. Any word on Industrial Injection?

    I wouldn't use Industrial.

Either bosch factory remans or Exergy if you want aftermarket

Apparently. Funny how so many made it a multitude of miles without issue, and then they take the sulpher out, and all the sudden everyone I know with a common rail ctd has injector issues.

I am assuming it is the only problem. Started running rough on the hgwy. noticed some smoke, not from tail pipe. Drove probably 8ish miles total but noticed my fuel disappeared fast. Like a 1/4 tank in that many miles. Was blowing oil/fuel out blow down tube like a freight train. Drained oil after getting towed and had about 10 gallons of oil gas mix in it. It sounds ok right now but has a really noisy injector and if Im changing 1 Im doing 6,.

Out of curiosity, why do you say that? It s the older style and has been on it since it had 1k miles on it. I've owned the truck since new and haven't had any problems till recently.

Quad used pressure/duration/timing in their programming. They were notorious for popping the tip off of the injectors.

Stick with duration and timing, the system has enough pressure as is.

I posted a shop in Utah that has reasonable prices in the other Cummins injector blowed up thread.

I know where DAP gets their injectors. I can get you the same ones for $1500/set, but I would only install them to trade in a truck or send it to auction.

I can get Bosch remans for $1800/set
