Anyone in DFW have access to a lift?

I'll be ordering all my BMR suspension components this week as well as my Borla Stinger catback and was wondering if anyone local would be up for helping me install? I'll bring the beer and pizza I live in a HOA and cant do any of the work at my own house which really sucks and I hate to drop 600 bucks on labor at a performance shop to do it for me.

yea manual labor sucks.. i wouldnt feel safe working under the car for any extended amount of time on jackstands.

i feel you about being under a car, i almost died about 4-5 years ago while replacing a steering rack on the 03 i had. the cheep ass $20 jack from AutoZone slipped of the K-member. for that fraction of a second i almost shit myself. but i was lucky and smart nuff to have placed two jackstands... only way i feel comfortable is with a good jack. and good jackstands and an old wheel as back up.

but anyway let me know if you do it yourself. i wanna see how to do an axle back on our cars.
i'll help too if its on my off day,

Hehe do you have air tools? I've heard that the suspension components are torqued on thier pretty good from the factory..

You guys are a bunch of girls . I have been building cars with nothing but floor jacks and jack stands for 20 years . As long as you aren't a knuckle head and pay attention to the placement they are just as safe as a lift . That being said working on a lift is a lot better for the back and knees .

Im not excactly skinny or short.. Im 6' and 300lbs.. Dont feel like dying under a car, lol

Yeah man, I have all of the tools you need to do the job. It's not the first suspension setup I have put on, and it won't be the last.

Jack stands are no different then a lift. Cars fall off of lifts... Its all about placement.
