Need to locate a Cruise O Matic transmission.

I need to find a cruiseOmatic 3 spd auto tranny for my 65 Tbird I'm working on. I know they are also called mercOmatic, and fordOmatic and went in a wide range of cars. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Whats it got to fit behind? Cruise O Matic transmission, I thought that was a c6 trany.
I been welding all night and I'm to lazy to go look it up.

Its going behind a 390. Ive got a C6 here now, but theres several mods thats has to be done for the c6 to fit in the 65 tbird.

? My 67 Galaxie had a 289 and CruisOmatic IIRC. I did a little research before I posted that but you know how that is sometimes.

The one that I have is behind an FE390, 1968 Country Squire wagon. Its in east texas so I can't get you any details today.

Not trying to be a dick but he posted that he needed a FE bolt pattern trans and most of the fairlanes that were built were small block bolt patterns 289 and 6 cylinder cars. The odds of that craigslist car being a GT or GTA are very slim and I think they were C6 transmisssions anyway

I talked to him (craigslist ad), he didnt really know what he had, but it was a 289 car.
