08 Bullitt Shaker 1000 help

Bought a 08 Bullitt used and having to fix all the previous issues. It has the shaker1000 already in it, but the previous owner but a cheap pioneer single din in and took the shaker hrad unit out. Needless to say it sounds like ****. I bought a shaker1000 head unit and just got done installing it.*Now my issue is that the radio powers on and screens/lights*work, however I get NO sound playing at all. What might be the issue?Did some searching and read about reprogramming and doing self test on radio. Did the self test and fails forprogramming, and not ecu. If it does have to be reprogrammed since the isn't factory head unit for this car, is this something I can do myself?

Probly Ford can do it. Also there is a factory amp that would need to make sure works or hooked up

This amp that's under the head unit? And I guess I should gave said in my original post that all speakers (except the subs) worked fine with the aftermarket head unit

I don't think its connected to headunit. Its in one of the kick panels if I remember right on 06. Had to go thru some shit getting an after market amp hooked up.
