  • Is there a common failure for foxbody dash lights?

I checked all the fused, replaced the headlight switch, took out the dimmer switch and cleaned all the contacts at least. All my outside lights and all the indicator lights in the dash and all gauges work, just the illumination for the gauges and the A/C switches does not work. I don't have a manual to look up the wiring scheme yet. I thought I would ask if there is some common failure in this circuit on foxbodies that would save me some time to check?

A backed out pin on the headlight switch connector.

If it were just the dash lights id say something else

^Exactly, the dimmer switch would be my first guess.

Second guess would be the IVR: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...tage-Regulator
