Look all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
Meh. My first car was an 87 tbird with a 3.8 v6. I like that car and body style, and I also like the dohc 4.6. I dont like the mark viii body style much. I have one, but just for the drivetrain.

I like the MK8's, just to much bullshit with the air ride and other quirks. It's also heavy like a mofo, on the hwy though that car was cherry. I'll see if I still have a picture of my MK8 LSC...

I'm having difficulty setting a price point on this thing. I see complete junkers going for $1k and I see low mileage garage queens going for $8-10K. It's been lowered, the ride control has been swapped out for conventional suspension, but I still have the shock sensors, and it has a manifold back exhaust system. Some jackass went and shredded the drivers side seat belt, so I had to get a gray one to go in it. What do yall think it's worth?
I'll offer $500.00 and it needs to have a full tank of gas and delivered to me.

I'm pretty sure you'll never see one actually sell for 8-10K in your lifetime, no matter what original condition.
That was a great looking car, Danny. Hadn't seen several of those pics before that I remember.
Thanks. It was a turd, but I did like that old car a lot.
One of my favorite things I did to it was have those 'power 4' decals made out of vinyl. In all the years I had the car, no one ever asked me about them, lmao. I thought they were so trick.
He also has one of it when there was no motor in it, only my son sitting on the K member
Yes I do. I didn't have an engine hoist at the time, so I removed the transmission and tipped the 2.3 short block out of the car onto the concrete - at the U-storage unit I built the car in! Haha, those were good times.

Hahaha, my SVO was the same way. Such a POS but I loved it when it was running right. I thought the same thing when I put the SVO badges on the hood scoop instead of the fenders after the paint job!
Speaking of TurboCoupes, Denny went with me to Fort Worth to pick up a FREE light blue '85 TurboCoupe that the dude was going to lose. I drove it home, then a few days later my "SVO" had a little engine fire and I had to use some of the wiring harness on the TC to fix it.
OP - Everyone that has owned and driven a 2.3T has at least one story like these!
