hose too small, make it the same size as coming out the fill neck, and if you pump oil into the intake air, plan on detonation, oil decreases the octane of the gasoline.Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.

Would a inline air/oil separator for air compressor tools work?

Something like that or a catch can.
I run two of these on the neon because I'm paranoid.
There are two ports, it has baffles and mesh on the inside to help accumulate oil. I have one from my pcv to my intake manifold with a check valve, and one on my valve cover going to my air intake.

you don't want any back pressure, those separators are for compressed air. You should have as near zero pressure as you can get. the bigger the hose the better it is.
"It's about the same size as stock, that factory one slid into the grommet aswell. It's 5/16, should I go 3/8s anyways?"
the factory pcv hose had vacuum on it, that's why it was smaller. with your setup, if you have any blowby, that hose won't do much.Last edited by jyro; 11-16-2013, 04:46 PM.Don't worry about what you can't change.

I quickly fabbed up a new baffle out of a beer can in about 15 minutes that cleared the rockers and did a fine job of blocking the oil from the tube. The view down the oil filler neck was pretty cool as well when you saw "coors" down there
IMO you want the PVC on a street driven car to keep oil leaks to a minimum.
