blown t5 need help finding another

    Nope. T5Z was never offered in any Ford application. It was an aftermarket unit designed to fit the Ford Fox body and used the Cobra main shaft and V8 Camaro 1st through 4th gear ratios. It was deemed the strongest T5 available from Borg Warner/Tremec for the Mustang but that really wasn't saying very much as its only rated at 330 lbs of torque from Tremec.

      Mine was behind a healthy 408 running 6.80s n/a, then I sprayed nitrous mainly hitting it in 3rd, did h/c/I and it broke 3rd as soon as I left from getting it tuned.

      I liked the long 1st and short 3rd gear.

      320rwhp. 7.67 @ 90mph 1.7 60'

        3rd gear is usually the first gear in a Z spec that fails.
