You can grab a 6 cylinder trailblazer converter from GM cheap and it'll stall about 25-2700 behind a mild 5.3, makes a cheap, easy upgrade too.

Yep, lockup. And way cheaper than aftermarket.

I bought a Trailblazer converter to go in my wagon. I think I gave something like $138 for it.

5.3L - Cam ugrade ? Anyone done it !
