Buggy or parts?

A local guy had a minor roll accident in his '03 Avalanche (Z66 package), and now he wants to sell it for 1k flat. It has new tires, clean power leather interior, full tank of gas (lol), sound engine&trans, etc. All of the doors open and close and all of the lights work. The only things that are messed up are the roof, passenger side doors and fender, windshield, and 3 windows.
This just happened, so it's not nasty on the inside from rain. I'm gonna buy it, but I am torn between parting the truck out, or converting it into some sort of a ranch buggy.
Ideas? Advice? Go!
