  • Where to buy diamond plate?

I have a friend in need of some, and I am not sure the best place to buy it. He is thinking of covering the ceiling in his garage/man cave with it.

They carry a few sheets at Aces hardware. Might be a little expensive for as ceiling though.

For odd sizes I use these guys.http://diamondlifegear.com/diamond-p...FQ-bnAodNXh2nQ

Other wise I use Trident or Jorgenson Steel.

It's kinda of pricy from a few years ago.

If your near Saginaw Discount Steel has it in I think 5x10 sheets, they have pricing online but it is always cheaper at the location.

for the ceiling? Might think about something like this instead of metal.

Using the pricing from this site, it's amazing that it cost the same as the faux diamond plate ceiling tiles.

Sounds like a headache if it falls off the ceiling & hits a head. There are better materials to use.

Screwing it to the wood in the ceiling doesn't sound like a headache at all.
I am open to other ideas though.

It's heavy unless you get a thin aluminum sheet.
