Know anyone that can rebuild a carb?

I need to find someone that can rebuild a old Cadillac carb. I am not talking about a BS replace all of the gaskets rebuild. I think the carb is off of a 64 Deville.

I need to get the old thing running again and try and sell the heap.

Why would you need to do anything more than change the gaskets, change all the springs, etc, and scrub all the old gunk out? If nothing's changed engine wise, you shouldn't need to open any circuits up or anything.

You have a point. What floats are the bad ones? I know they switch to plastic, and the first ones were junk.

Just change every damn thing out. Set the carb at one corner of your work bench, start taking parts off, and lining them up in order. Put little refrigerator magnets everywhere, so you have the right screws next to the right parts. Keep them in the order you disassembled them, and reassemble them in reverse order. It's easy.
