    Steeda UD Pulley Set Mach1 or GT?

    Quick question....can I reuse my 04 GT UD pulley kit on an 04 Mach1 engine? If not, check the classifieds for a set of 04 pulleys soon.

    I believe you can, although I think the stock Mach 1 alternator pulley already is an underdrive version.

    It seems I recall several cases of stock oil pump failure being reported though when using UD pullies on a Mach 1 engine.

      To put things into perspective, I've been following this topic since 2001. I can plainly state that there has been oil pump failures related to Steeda and other small diameter dampers that are too numerous to count. Let's talk about why this happens with Cobra’s and Machs and not SOHC Mustang...

        Thanks for the replies, I just saw a similar sticky on mach1registry.... alrighty, looks like they will be going into the classifieds!
