The factory set your PIP to 961 from the Factory on ALL Fox mustangs.

Your Fuel Cut is APPROXIMATELY 6006250 / YOUR PIP

    Thats approximately 6250

Reprogramming the PIP to 1 would make your fuel cut APPROXIMATELY to 6006250 RPMs.

The A9l or P uses PIP as a sample rate frequency. Once you exceed it it will cut fuel. Depending on your custom chip and whoever programed it, it could wig out your computer and require a restart to reset it.

Sounds like your custom chip is garbage to me. Someone programmed it didnt know what they were doing

There is a hardcoded No Fuel at 7000 RPMs that needs to be programmed to like 15000 or so.

I used to use my ignition to cut spark for my rev limiter. Much safer for a boosted car

You go RICH after a fuel cut because the computer CUT FUEL, which resulted in loss of RPMs to get below the PIP cut. Once the computer kicks fuel back on, it goes OMG we are too lean, dump fuel into the system, hence you go way rich.

It will run rich until i do a key cycle.

I'll msg my tuner and see what we can work out.

I have no other issues other than this.

Mine would do that when the stock distributor was worn out.

Here's a video of last night. It happens in 2-3 shift, I let out early because it was rich and felt slow.

Y not ask andy what he set the PIP number to?

If it isn't going lean on the w/b then it isn't cutting fuel nor is it cutting spark. I'm guessing valve float.

Your wideband would pick up missfires and show a lean condition. Same with the fuel cut.
