Im looking for the best price on a rebuild kit for a jeep 4.0. Iv found some on ebay but they all have a disclaimer saying the hold the right to use which ever part brands they want. Anyone have any luck?

Just pick up a used engine. Last long lock I bought was $495 from LKQ. I imagine you could get one even cheaper from a pick n pull or local yard.Comment

You gonna have machine work done on it? Why not let the machinist make a living by buying from him?
As with many things in our "global" economy, buying off eBay gets you the cheapest stuff. How long do you plan for this engine to run?
If they are already stating pretty much hey, you will get the cheapest stuff we can find.Rich

Bout the only parts I will buy off from ebay are A/C compressors. I did buy a transmission rebuild kit off from Ebay and it was decent. On engine rebuild kits, I generally go to rock auto.Comment
