Anyone ever use one of the hand held tuners on a "Box Stock" Shelby GT 500 ? Do you really get a gain in HP without other mods ?

Their ad states 40 HP and 45 Ft Pounds of torque on a stock motor with no mods. Think that is about right ? You could feel that .Comment

I used SCT's tune for my 12 GT, it picked up power, but IMO, I would go to a local shop.
SCT added 6* globally, which is a bad idea and the shift tables had all kinds of dead areas in them. What I mean about dead areas, if I was driving 80 and floored it, the car didn't do anything.....once mph came down, it would then down shift.Comment
