This is what I would do.

The 96-98 hoods actually vent out heat, not a lot but they do and they don't let water in either.
I like the GT500 extractor, that looks pimp, especially on a black car. I used a Cobra R hood to race with a pin setup, it also saves weight and lets the air pour out.

I vote for the GT500 extractor as well. It isn't an i your face hey look at me mod. Passing it on the highway or tooling around town it isn't going to draw much attention. From what it sounds it offers other benefits as well

If you decide to do the GT500 heat extractor I should have the stock one off my car that you can have.

Done Chris. I am pretty set on it. Any other hood I get will just be an extra like the wheels/tires and all the other extra shit I have.

Did you go with a carbon fiber jobber?
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

The rears are 10.5" by the way with 275s in the front and 315 out back. I didn't want flashy and couldn't ever find the BBS RK or RX for sale when I was looking. I ended up with original Ford R's that I had redone to look brand new......and widened the rears of course.
Yeah, I watched your thread from the start. Widening wheels can get pricey, I did some ten holes and turbo fans with weld craft a while back. Cobra r's are just so dated, they don't do the car justice.

Back on the wheels... I have a pair of '94-95 Cobra wheels in my attic. I can't recall what kind of shape they're in, but if you're interested them I will take a look.
