Creeper for 250lb person

Alright, I'm looking to buy a creeper as a birthday gift for a big guy. My GF's dad tells me he needs a new one and he is 6-4 and around 250 pounds.

Most creepers that Ive looked at list a 250lbs max if they even offer such a rating. So.. where and what model should I be looking for? Any heavy guys here with a good stable creeper?

Im looking to spend around $70-80.

I bought a craftsman 3 ton jack set from sears about 3 years ago that included 2 jack stands and a creeper for about 100.00....I haven't had any problems with it and im 6'3" 250........Heres a link to price and view it...hope this helps...

I bought the cheap red one from Harbor Freight for like $15 after coupon.. Works fine for me, even when I was at about 280. If you sit on it it hits the ground, but as long as you are laying down and your weight is distributed it is fine.

Their "heavy duty" one with the metal frame is like $25.

if he does any welding I would stay away from the foam covered ones. I have set one on fire before right by my head. Small fire but taught me a lesson, LOL.

I was looking at the dog bone, seems like a good creeper. I have a cheap one and it drags the ground with me laying on it @ 185lbs.

I have a "bone" creeper that worked well when I was in a diesel shop(Im 6'4 250lbs). Kind of a pita to get under a car though. You have to lift the car up pretty high because the creeper sits up higher than most.
Iv got the same one I bought in 2001. Ill sell it if anyone wants it.
