  • Today's turd differentials.

So I've been having issues with my diff only putting power to one tire, I had a 31 spline From a cobra I got from a friend a while back..

This is what I found.. Lol so much for that.

So I had another that another friend had given me because he went with a trutrac instead. It looks good.

Then there was the on that was in my car. Holy crap.

Can I use this s clip in a differential housing that originally had the smaller one?

And can someone explain to me why all 3 8.8 differential carrier castings shown here are different? I also have pictures of a fourth variant. Any information on this? Which would be considered better?

there are lots of variants of the carriers. you wont hurt any of them. single stack the steels and get an extra fiber in there and use the tall spring. also, 31 spline carriers have a larger 7/8 crosspin

Lots of hits with slicks, but nitto nt01 otherwise.

Yes, I have done that. You need to use hose (worm) clamps to compress the spring down and then cut and yank them out once the spring is installed in the carrier.

i dont know if bobs94formula is still running my eaton. If he is that thing has seen some abuse haha. Its never been rebuilt and the 400.00 or whatever it was was well worth it.
