  • Where to buy metric Taps and Dies?

Anyone know where I can get an M14x1.5 die locally in Ft. Worth area? I can get it online, but I'd prefer to have one today.

    TIA.

That may be a better option for a single piece.

Northern tool has them as well. I seent em Saturday...
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

Thanks for all the replys guys, but none of these places have M14x1.5

Oriellys has them up to M12 I believe. At least the store near me that is. Fastenal can get it, but it would be Friday.

I just ordered one on Amazon, with prime it will be here Wednesday.

I have some metric taps and dies, all I have needed to this point. If I didn't have a set already, I would have gone that route. Thanks though.

You need to go over to williams tools over on Belknap. Take 35 north and exit belknap going east. It's a couple of miles on the right next to mid cities motorcycles. Or call em and see if they have your size. I don't have a number handy but I'm sure you are google literate.

I thought about them, and I didn't even call. the last time I was there was several years ago, and its nowhere near the store it used to be. It was Bill williams Tools, and had a BUNCH of stuff! Now that its Williams Tools, they downsized big time, and carry some stuff Harbor Freight would be embarrassed to carry. I haven't been back since.
