  • Help identifying a 351 and

What its worth when its priced to sell for someone.
Before posting, I did some reading up and two things that I read were, the thermostat housing is higher and so both bolts to it can easily be reached with a socket, while a 302 it is kind of tucked behind the timing cover. And the second thing was that the lower intake would measure bolt to bolt from the left side to the right side 9 inches. This meets both qualifications but I want to be sure. If it is, I'll have a 351w for sale. Here are a few pics.

The quickest way to tell is to look at the seam between the head and the block where it meets the timing cover . If the seam is right above the timing cover it is 302 based . If it is about 1 inch higher it is 351 based . That is a 351 .
