dont be a pussy and spool it.the black car(84 camaro with mini spool) isnt to bad hell in the rain its fun as hell to drive.it took 1-1.5yrs to wear out the tires.

I've had some sort of FMS upgrade/rebuild kit in my junk for a loooooooooooong time. Never had any 1-tire issues.

On my first fox when it was like new I went through something like 4 sets of rears from new to so bald cord would show all the way around in 35K miles. Lots of burnouts and "drifts" back when they were called power slides. (Buddy got me into that, seemed like every male in his family was a dirt-track racer of some sort)

Rear-end certainly felt "loose" towards the end and made some clunking noises now and then, but the posi function was still fine.

Wonder why you keep eating them up???

I can get a like new Detroit Locker 31spline for 500 or less shipped to your door. Not sure how good of a price that is but just throwing that out there. Its in a classified ad on NLOC.net I buy most of my parts off there and its a small close knit group of guys that are honest and ain't out to fuck anyone over

So I need to do something with my rear end.

But I want something better then stock, I'm tired of the clutches shitting out and 1 tire fire if the car isn't perfectly straight.

I drag race my car, I get bored randomly and cruise for hours and if the road is curvy I flog the shit out of it.

What would you guys build in my situation?

This was the same boat that I was in recently.
Ideally if I had had the extra money at the time I would of went with a Detroit Tru Trac & Moser 31-Spline Axles.
But after a lot of research this is the route that I went for the money, and couldnt be happier...
