I was looking for shop space in Hurst (basically centrally located for three of us) and they started at $1250/mo for the shitholes off Pipeline / Hwy10. One place was $1500/mo and they wanted first month, last month, and one month's rent as a deposit up front. I pretty much ruled out getting shop space for my hobby when it looked like costs were in the neighborhood of three to five grand to get started.

I was looking at getting a space out there, in fact I think you might have rented the unit I was looking at. South side of the first building furthest from the gate? I have a few acquaintances that have places in that complex.

I think I used to work in that exact space. That's where SNL Performance/Monster Clutch started out. We used to have stairs on the right side going up to a second story where we had a couch, tv and an xbox 360 up there. Weird.
