  • Where to buy ... Calibration tube.

    I have a 73mm c&l maf housing, it's calibrated to 30lb injectors.

    Where can I get just the tube for 19#?

    I checked their site and didn't see anything besides a whole new housing.

    Mine is blue, and I need a clear I believe.

      C&L sucks.

      With your stockish setup just keep a stock MAF on it for now with stock 19 lb injectors.

        And yes I know, I was going to leave it off until I get headers at least, but will most likely hold out until major mods.

        Why does c&l suck? It's a housing. Lol

                    It sucks because of the "calibration tube" design.

                    What is being asked of the design is ridiculous when it comes to trying to capture good air in a tube that is a very small fraction of the air that is coming through.

                    Then add in all the awesome turbulence and you'll have lean-rich havoc as you go through the rpms. It took a shit ton of work to get my c&l to get close to decent, then I had to clock it to get the closest to consistent airflow into the tube. A change in air density would require me to find the next sweet spot.

                    Take the screen out of your stock maf. Sell that piece of shit c&l and put the money towards the purchase of better parts.

                      Is your car 100% stock. No. That's why I said stock-ish.

                      C&L sucks. Do some research. Pro-M or a Ford meter is FAR better. Yes, some people have had good luck with C&L meters. Everything I've seen over the years is more people hate them than like them.

                      No reason to upgrade your Mass Air until you engine mods (heads, cam, intake).

                            I may have one as well. I'll check tonight when I get home.
                            It happens to be a well thought out and reasoned dissertation on drug use and a lyrical cost/benefit analysis of various kinds of drugs, drawing the conclusion that beer is the best of them all.
