  • Finally installed tires/rims rear passenger makes noise on turns?

Only thing I can think of was discount tire didn't balance correctly/at all with no wheel weights on said rim.

All lugs tightened, nothing interfering with wheel operation and not seeing any rubbing

Any ideas besides wheel weight issue?

Very seldom are tires balanced with no weights. I'd take it back up there tell them what's going on and ask them to rebalance that one.

Not being balanced won't cause it to make noise while turning. Not being balanced will only cause vibration.

If it's making noise something is rubbing or touching something. Check the brake disc backing plate, wheel clearance vs everything, etc..

Do 12's have quad shocks? I ask because I had that issue on my 04 at one time and it was because I had lost the bolt on the quad shock.

                Nope.

Is this car lowered? When you lower an S197 car ('05+ Mustang) the rear will shift toward the driver's side. That's why they sell adjustable panhard rods - so you can re-center the axle.

I would look on the outside edge of the driver's tire and the inside edge of the passenger's tire for wear.

Found out its the freakin fender liner is more loose on one side than the other and is causing the noise. Grrr .

Cars not lowered but going to be.

Now to figure out if I can use a self tap screw or if it will go somewhere it should not.

Factory shouldn't move, I wouldn't put a screw in it that's just rigging it. It may have lost the retainer

Had ford check it out while doing warranty work, they said nothing was missing, but they coulda just not even pulled rim off, i'll know when I take it off tonight.
