Need one for my contour fans... I know everyone recommends DCC, but hell they won't return emails, and I'm not sending money to someone without knowing when I will get my product.

Any one running a contour fan that ISN'T running a DCC controller?

I heard that Volvo 2 speed fan controllers with a bmw temp sending unit works really well.

Not sure what brand it is, but I'm using one from O'riellys that I bought as a temporary solution. It was only about $35, and it's still in there after 3 years. Works fine for me. It has adjustable temp ranges for the fan, comes on with the A/C, etc.

why not use a painless or similar single terminal switch to control the ground side of a relay?

            cheap.

I've got a Derale adj controller #16759, that I never installed. I'd sell for $25, but I'm on the other side of DFW from you.

That sounds right. It was in the $30-$40 range. Don't remember the model number. I needed to get something in quick, so I bought it with the intentions of changing it out later with a "better" one. Here we are 3 years and about 22k miles later and I'm going to leave it till it quits. Its installed in a 92 with a Taurus fan.

Edit: I think I have the 3651 after a quick google search. Mine is a single fan controller, the 3654 is a dual fan controller.

I had the DCC controller on my grand cherokee. Yes, he didn't respond to me and it seemed sketchy, but the part arrived and worked great. I wouldn't recommend a shortcut when installing a ford fan.

I bought a DCC fan controller off of their website, no email, no tracking, and about six days later it showed up.

I have a Pro-Flow that I can adjust the high and low fan settings, but Im not sure you get them anymore, unless you search e-bay.

Okay guys, I got the Hayden controller, and it is designed to run dual fans, dual speed. Question is, the contour fans have plugs that only have two terminals on each plug. I assume that one is power, and one is for ground. The controller I have has 2 power wires for each fan, one wire being low speed, one wire being high speed. So 4 wires total, 2 going to each fan.

How my supposed to wire this up when there are only two terminals on each fan, and one is a ground?
