  • Convertible question...

    1. If the top goes down just fine but doesn't come up at all does that mean the motor is out or the hydraulic is bad?

    2. Is there a place where you can go get your vert fabric tightened up?

I'd be more worried about the wheels being straight and the bumper off the ground.

Is the motor coming on when you try to raise the top? If so, yeah it's probably going bad. Could be low on fluid I guess, but I'm not sure how it could have escaped.

Could also have a leak in one of the lines . Look for any oil spots under the back . I had one crack in my vert and it was spraying inside the fender by the ram .

                Bump...

Completely forgot about this thread. Rofl!!! Cars is fine should be getting it back later this week from the Amazing Greg (Shaggin Waggon).

I didn't see any leaks when I looked at the shit so I was hoping one of you little niglets would shed some light on it.

If you have no leaks and the motor is running, then the motor has likely shit the bed.

One cheap 'n easy trick to tighten up the top's fabric is to wet it down real good then leave it in the sun to dry.
