Sears 23 drawer 40 inch combo tool box...Is this a good deal?

There is a Sears tool box (23 drawer, 40 inch combo) I am going to look at tomorrow that is for sale for $750 (new price is $1199). I do not know yet if it is new or used.

If you can get it for the $750 and it is new it is a good deal. I have the same box to include the intermediate drawer (great for sockets).

I have the BB one thats not as wide and it is great. Craftsman makes good boxes, my dad has a non BB and I bought it for him 20 years ago for Christmass and it still works fine.

that set is the ball bearing sliders with the grip latch drawer handles. For a home garage used by a hobiest (sp?) it works great. I have a lot of tools for a home non professional and this box keeps it all pretty orginized.

I have that exact same box combo and I picked it up for about $750 or so. I love it. quality is exactly what you'd expect from Craftsman. that price will come again, you just have to be patient.

craftsman makes good boxes. Damn near all my tools are craftsman so that way if i break them I can get them replaced that same day rather than wait for the snap on or matco truck
