  • 6200+rpm car turns off ish.

Pretty sure it's just the fuel cut. But is it slow acting? I've never hit the limiter before atleast not like this. Twice this week if I rev it out and shift the car turned off for what seemed like a full second and came back on and ran fine.

The other day I did a test launch and it broke the tires loose hard enough it hit the limiter and shut off again. Lol

Remove factory limiter in the tune and run a stand alone ignition? Need to do that anyways.

    Thoughts?

I've heard the fox ECM turns off after 6250. Is this that?

On the shitty launches you're right.

I was shifting a little after 6k and not lifting completely.

It shows it doesn't make power after 5800 but I shift a little after so it doesn't drop in power to bad in the next gear. It feels strong after 5k.

Some say something is wrong after 5800. But it feels smooth.

You should bring that bad sumbitch up to Oklahoma and take-on the Street Outlaws. Make sure you do some test hits first though.

He already said he was doing test hits in the first post.

I'm sure that's what inspired the comment.

looks like you are losing control of the valvetrain up top, what valve spring seat and open pressures?
                      What trans gear ratios?

Duals are heavy, I'd run more spring in a dual or similar spring rate in a single beehive.

                          RPM drop
                          1-2:2600
                          2-3:2000
                          3-4:1400

I'd def run it all the way to 6200 for the best performance even with the top end drop, but i'd be worried about the valvetrain with what I see on the graph.

I should pick up some power with better springs.

I think it would make power after 6k with the top end I have. Systemax is good for it.

How do I determine what spring would be best?
