I'm trying to help out a person that has a '92 Lincoln w/4.6l, the plastic tube/resonator/engine cover that runs from the flexable coupling from the MAS to the throttle body is broken at the TB inlet clamp.
From scouring wrecking yards, it appears that this is a widespread issue. I went to the local 'pick-your-part' place, looked at around 40 Lincoln/Mercury/Fords and on each car the part was either broken or missing.
Other than welding up a tube myself that runs from the MAS to the TB, has anyone produced a replacement part?
