  • Radiator / E-fan / Vortech Suggestions...

I have the flexalite 185 fan kit on my car with an aluminum single core stock style radiator. I need to get a better radiator as I'm running a little hotter than I'd like. My concern is the spacing available from the vortech crank pulley and the fan shroud... As it is right now, I have less than an inch of clearance, so a thicker radiator is out of the question with the current fan setup unless someone knows something I'm not seeing.

Any suggestions on what would fit well with a vortech setup?

Anyone ever run a setup like this:

You could run a dual pass setup, if they make one for mustangs.

Edit: after checking out your link, I don't see a problem with that setup.

Right. That should work ok for you, just make sure you run at least one of the fans when you've got the AC on.

Whats the CFM on those fans, or the one you have now? They might be undersized and unable to keep up.

The one I have now is 3,300 CFM.
