I don't normally ask these loaded type questions, but I'm gunning for 700 reliable, driveable, smooth idling hp. So here is my plan........
    9.1 Comp 408 stroker
TFS R or R- Box intake
    90mm tb
    OTB Vic Jr heads
    1-3/4 Lontubes with 3" exhaust
Custom Cam in the 212º-218º .575-.600 and 114º-115º lsa(smooth idle)
    80# injectors
HPX Slot Meter in a 3.5" tube
Intercooled Novi 2000 making 17#'s by 5500 RPM
22º of timing on Sunoco 112 Octane

Anyone think it should hit 700 flywheel hp with that combo?

A buddies first gen with a 351 and a intercooled vortech @ 16psi, TFS R, acufab 76mm tb, I don't remember the heads, 3" exhaust, smooth idling cam, Fast xfi with 72 lb injectors makes 550 rwhp on pump gas, that should put it at 700+ at the flywheel with the drivetrain loss of the rear end and e4od. That's on pump gas.

My 347 made 567 on 12psi. 17psi should make close to 700rwhp which is what I'm shooting for when I put the YSi on.

Yeah my E4OD eats about 20-22% before it gets to the wheels. I would really like to see 600 to the tires with 15#'s of boost. I know there are better heads than Vic Jr's or 185's but I have a trade inn the works for either pair for my AFR 165's.

So you think 850hp with the YSI huh? is it a street car with a radio, AC and all that jazz?

, yes, it has all of the amenities minus the backseat.

I made 550RWHP with a worn-out 302 with small valve Edelbrock Performers and a stock cam on 12#'s of turbo boost. You should have NO problem whatsoever with your combo.

I'm looking at a 150 shot out of the hole then maybe another 150 once I hit 3rd or 2nd. Helps to keep those pesky YSI cars in check! Ha ha ha!
