  • Advice on my car's powerband

bored 306 with forged internals. I need to check the timing and carb, but I want some more umph in the low to mid torque range. It seems to plateau a bit toward the beginning, but gain its power in the mid-to-high RPM range. Granted, I cannot give an exact RPM ranges due to the MSD box fukin with my tach. Anywho here is the parts in the sled http://timcrofford.com/garage/partslist.html. Just looking for pointers on what I need to replace to gain my early torque, and kill the flat spot at the beginning.

Tanner bought my 4 eye guys......I think the carb just needs to be dialed in and the timing advanced. its at like 10 degrees and the carb is a demon 650 VS series with 73/75 jets on a weiand stealth intake

It's a comp cams extreme energy cam. 544/555 112lsa duration is like 220/224 or something. Change out the pushrods and launch that thing at 3-3500 and don't worry about the low range
