  • what should i do

would you stay with the AOD and add a stall? would you pull that and put in a C4 with a stall? would you just put in a T5 or something? i like having an auto and it being quick, but i do like bangin gears. i know it would be quicker as a stick over an a/t.

T5 FTW, I only want an auto in a big power car.

long term plans, it will be a big power car.

the car is driven only on weekends and never in traffic.

not sure i want to spend the cash to do the t5 swap or not, then later down the road, swap back to an auto.

this is a LONG time down the road. it has taken me over a year to get my car running again. so yeah, quiet some time down the road. i would like to keep it a/t, but should i look into swapping a C4 in the immediate future?

I wouldnt swap in a c4 unless it was a track only car.

                      Dude.

A fucking C4 will not get your car to stop overheating.

Just looking at down the road. Think I figured the cooling problem out, but now I need to replace my fuel pump. It died last weekend

My last fox had a c4 with a manual valve body. It was just as fun as a 5 spd, and much faster than an aod. I went t5 to aod back to 5 speed in a car awhile back. Aod's suck.
