  • Static 4/6 drop 2001 silverado.

Truck has a 2/4 on it now, and he wants to go lower.

Any reccendations on a c notch?

    Suggestions in general?

Already has spindles in the front, he needs front springs and do a flip on the rear, but needs a c notch. Mainly looking for cnotch recommendations.

I have had great success with the djm rear flip kit stuff I've put in. It's mainly been late model dodges I've done for whatever reason. I didn't have to bother with a c notch because it was a 4 inch drop in the rear (flip kit and adjustable shackles to raises the rear back up). Several companies make bolt in c notches but I'd recommend welding the seams anyway.

                Any yes, Slammy slams shit

Since DFWstangs died guess ill start posting stuff here. My old thread is located at http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=397726 Guess ill finally put a build thread up for this truck. Truck is from lousiana, was already bagged and stock floored and its in a for a complete new frame. Not gonna be

you could get the bolt on c notch kit and have someone weld it. shouldnt be to much.

C notches are pretty straight forward if he gets a bolt on notch, but if he plans to bag it in the future a step notch would be best now while he is under there IMO.

Guy in Gainesville says if we supply the notch and take the bed off, he will do it for 150.

Bring it to me, I'll weld it in for cheaper.

Might take you up on that deal, I don't have immidiate access to a torch or plasma cutter either.

                            So shit the bed.

I see no reason to pull the bed off just to put in a C notch. A step notch yes, but you'd also have to cut out the bed.
