anyone drill and insert screws for rims

I have some mt et streets that dont hold air that well I was told I could have holes screwed into the rimsand screws put into the tires to keep them from spinning off the rims I seen a set for sale on here but dont know how good or if thats a good thing to do

What psi are you running? Have you tried a bead sealer yet?

inflate with air and check the sidewalls with soapy water.

bead sealer will help, but what kind of 60 foots we talking about here?

I havnt gotten thst fsr if I air them up by the next day they have lost a good amount of air I dont want to spin the tire off the rim at launch

I don't think I've ever had a slick not loose a few pounds overnight. Unless brand new.

Slicks are poarse. Don't store them with air, and lay them flat,

if you have tubes in them they shouldn't lose much (if any), i can easily go a week(s) without much of a drop at all in mine (and they are FAR from brand new)

Jegs sells a tool for marking the rim and drilling. It's only about 5$.

If you run tubes, you will absolutely have to drill the rims. Drilling now is optional. Slicks will lose air with our without screws. some are worse than others.

You could just use straight dish soap to coat the inside of th tire. Works pretty well and really cheap.
