Custom is always better provided the specs given are correct. I've always used bullet sams but wouldn't hesitate to talk to Mr Curtis either both are very well known.

Interested in going carbed? I'll make you a hell of a deal on an intake, carb, and cam that will make the power you're looking for. You'll need a good set of heads (if you're buying new, get the 185s, trust me) and you'll have to have the pistons flycut.

I've got an extra typhoon intake in my garage, how do those perform compared to a GT40 or trick flow?

What sort of specs do they typically need for a custom cam?

I prefer to say with an EFI setup as I know nothing about carb tuning.

Check FTI's website. I think they show the spec sheet to fill out. I think their site is flowtechinduction.com. My buddy gave every detail of the engine, suspension, gearing, car weight, tire height, rpm range, etc etc.

I might be in the market for an intake/carb soon for my 76mm 302 build. PM me some details please. Gonna need those parts eventually so if you can give me a deal, I'll grab them soon.

12 to 1 compression or higher will get you your hp numbers fairly easy. Will take high octane fuel to safely haul ass but you can get away with pump gas if you dont get on it.

Guess I should have specified that it needs to run on pump gas (93) without a worry of something blowing up or causing problems. I don't want to constantly be worried whether or not I'm getting on it too hard.

                    Then don't build a roller block 302.

                      Get what you can take?

I'm running out of lines here man

Let me ask this, is 330-350 even feasible on a n/a setup?
                      Is even breaking 300 feasible?

                        yes, without too much issue.

What are you going to put it in? Coupe? Truck?

                            Stock short block
AFR 185's or TFS FAC 170's (54cc chambered)
                            1.6 roller rockers
                            FTI hydraulic roller camshaft
Eddy RPM II or TFS Track Heat intake port matched
                            30 lb injector
                            75mm throttle body
                            1 3/4" long tube headers
                            Good after market balancer
Good dual roller timing chain set
                            Good oil pump rod
Good oil pan with windage tray or just install a windage tray and factory pan

This combo should make close to 350 with a good tune and all functioning sensors for the EFI.
