What blew-up? Carrier and gears should be the same as a 2500-3500 Van or GM truck.

It was actually a pinion bearing failure. Just going to rebuild it all. Got it all tore apart today. Gotta get the New bearings pressed on tomorrow. Broke my puller trying to get the carrier ones off. It tore up enough stuff that's its close to not being usuable. Going to give it a shot couple hundred vs 1200.
