  • building slip into a clutch

I was speaking to a guy awhile back that told me he was able to change the slip of a clutch / pressure plate by building weights into the clutch... Has anyone ever heard of this or done it? I've seen the adjustable ram clutch but this guy said that wasnt what he was doing. Anyone ever modded or built weights into a non adjustable clutch to cause slippage? If so how did you go about doing it and what all is involved. I've searched around and havent found any good info yet

You remove weights in decrease clamping force I think.

Center force adds weighs to the fingers.

That's how fuel cars and such add or take out "Clutch". A lot of things go into it. Air, track, fuel, etc...

I just sent my converter to get loosened up. I was just thinking it would be cooler to be able to adjust it myself and not have to send something out everytime. On a different note, you wouldnt happen to have a set of 4.56 gears you'd sell?

            not .56s, only .10s

I don't see a lot of .56s, most people are scared!
