  • 03 Expedition drive cycles after clearing codes

    03 Expedition 4.6.

Trying to get it inspected, but it had thrown codes or bad cats on both banks. I had the codes cleared, but the evap and cat codes still show incomplete, meaning I cant have it put on the machine until they do. Ive put 120-130 miles on it since clearing the code, and it's a mix of hwy/city. Ignition has been cycled 10 times or so. Still showing incomplete.

Anyone know exactly how many cycles it takes until it starts reading those sensors?

If you know the proper procedure you can complete a OBDII drive cycle in less than half an hour.
      Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

Thanks for the info! Evap system reset when I ran to get the kids donuts this morning, so I'm sitting up here getting it inspected before it throws another code. Hopefully it will pass even though the cat system is still incomplete.
